I started my fitness journey in 2011 with a running program and joined CrossFit in Oct, 2011.  At that time I was Pre-diabetic, had high blood pressure, borderline cholesterol levels and foot pain.  My Dr wanted to put me on medication.  At my next physical, he said my numbers were better, the following year my numbers were good.  "Keep doing what your doing." he said. Since then there has been no mention of medication.

I am an advocate for CrossFit as a FITNESS program first and strength program as a secondary result.
